Will never use Morgan Miller again! We had a 1/2" copper fitting leak in basement with easy access. They quoted several hundred dollars for a crimp repair, not solder. He then said it may be more if he had to cut open the ceiling because he wasn't sure if his crimp tool would fit. He added that we needed a new main shut off valve because it was dripping when turned off. Crimp fittings don't have to be 100% dry so the main valve seemed like a way to run up our bill. I asked him to grab the tool to see if it would fit and he said it would automatically be $270 just to check. If a plumber can't give a solid quote on repairing 1/2" copper pipe that is accessible between floor joist then they are either inexperienced or playing the customer for a fool. Regardless, I sent him home and paid $100 cash for nothing. My family will never use Morgan Miller again! Follow up - a few days later we found a new plumbing company out of Lee's Summit that was excellent! They shut water of at the main and made simple crimp repair without cutting into the ceiling, thus saving us hundreds. They recommended replacing the pressure regulator which was likely the root cause of leak, however it did not have to be done right then. This enabled us to make an informed decision vs. forcing rash decisions.

The crew arrived on time and were friendly and courteous. They reviewed the work scope with me before starting and they performed their work in a very professional and neat manner. I'm very happy with Morgan Miller Plumbing and I definitely plan on working with them again !

My 70+ year old mother was charged the $90 for the trip to her home when she opted out of the $400 quote for a simple kitchen faucet install, customer providing faucet. We ended up replacing it on our own. Cost $65 for the faucet and took less than an hour.
